NIA must investigate big separatist leaders to expose them before nation

NIA (National Investigation Agency) has been conducting raids and interrogating junior separatist leaders of Hurriyat Conference for allegedly receiving funds from Pakistan for fueling terror in the state. NIA has rightly taken 7 junior separatist leaders into its custody in Pak funding case. Now, it has conducted the raid at the residence of Devendra Singh Behl, the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF), in connection with terror funding case. It has interrogated Behl at his residence over his suspected connections with separatist elements. During the searches, the NIA team recovered incriminating documents, financial papers and some other articles. The NIA is investigating into his role as a courier as he is suspected to be involved in routing funds to the separatist leaders from Pakistan based handlers. The NIA also conducted searches at various premises of Behl, who is also a member of the legal cell of the Hurriyat. He is a close associate of a top Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and regularly attends funerals of militants. Though NIA should have been asked by the govt. to go into the Pak funding to Hurriyat leaders much earlier, it must go all out also against the senior separatist leaders of the Hurriyat Conference. Hurriyat leader Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani is the face of Pakistan in the Valley. It is alleged that Geelani along with Mirwaiz Farooq, Yasin Malik, Shabir Shah and others are actively acting at the behest of Pakistan to fuel terror in the Valley. For fanning terror, Hurriyat leaders are allegedly paid by Pakistan. The arrest of Devender Singh Behl by the NIA is a good move. He has allegedly been the main conduit between Pakistan and Hurriyat in Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and it will remain so. Why do the Hurriyat leaders dance at the tune of Pakistan? They breathe, eat and live in India, but act against it. Why should Hurriyat leaders be allowed to meet ambassador of Pakistan in India to brief about Jammu and Kashmir? All the Hurriyat leaders have acted as agents of Pakistan. They deserve to be put in jail for life time for their anti-national activities. They misguide and mislead the youths of Kashmir to act against India at the dictation of Pakistan. Pak govt. army and notorious ISI play a key role in aiding, abetting and supporting terrorism in Kashmir. In addition to Hurriyat’s anti-national activities, it has been the curse of Jammu and Kashmir that two of its main state political parties National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) never come out openly against the Hurriyat and the terror elements. Whenever one of the two is in opposition, it speaks the language of Hurriyat. As far as the ruling PDP is concerned, its main plank has been the soft approach towards separatist and hardliners in the state. Presently, PDP- BJP coalition govt. is in place in Jammu and Kashmir. Despite being vertically opposite ideologically, they are in govt. together for the sake of power. When the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti says that if article 35A is scrapped, there will be no one to hold the national flag. She must be removed immediately by imposing Governor’s Rule. BJP claims to be a No.1 nationalist Party of the country. It is ruling at the Centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is considered as decisive and bold in taking a decision in the interest of the nation. But nothing has been pursued by Govt. of India against Mehbooba Mufti. Her govt. must be pulled down by imposing President’s Rule in the state. Now, NIA must start raiding the residences and interrogating top ranking Hurriyat leaders like Sayed Ali Shah Geelani, Miwaiz Omar Farooq, Yasin Malik, Shabir Shah and others in connection with Pak Funding case. It would expose them to the world as the nation already knows their dubious, scandalous, treacherous and treasonous characters. There is a solid allegation against them that they are the agents of Pakistan. The NIA must probe all aspects of funding to separatist leaders and how they reportedly used these funds to fuel unrest in the Kashmir Valley.
